Dear Constituent:

The Balmorhea Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees with assistance from the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services has begun work to select a new superintendent for our district. As a part of that process, the TASB search consultant would like to meet with various groups to begin developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired in the new superintendent.
 

To provide residents and employees an opportunity to offer their input, a number of meetings are being scheduled. We would appreciate you joining other members of the community at the place and time shown below in order to record the group’s response to a number of questions regarding the ideal superintendent:

Date: Thursday October 22, 2026    

Time: 7:00 pm (After the Junior High Football Game)     

Place: Balmorhea ISD Board Room

Your attendance and comments are greatly appreciated. The meeting is expected to last approximately one hour. A questionnaire with the same questions the TASB consultant will ask is also available online if you are not able to attend in person. The Balmorhea Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees has employed Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to assist with the search for a new superintendent. The Board has requested that school personnel and the public be involved in developing a profile of the leadership qualities desired of the person the Board should seek to become the new superintendent.
